This package is specific mainly for applications used in Germany Germany .

This class validates the numbers from a german identity card or passport.
It also returns the birth date, the expiration date and the age of the owner.
24th Jul 2003: workaround for birthdates befor the 1st Jan 1970 because of the UNIX-Timestamp range
